FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can we extend our charter if having too much fun?

If no charters are booked immediately after yours, absolutely! We will add the cost of additional time at the end.

  • Are we guaranteed to see dolphins?

Although Capt. Rob is excellent at locating our local dolphin and manatee… they are wild animals. There is no guarantee but we will say, it is extremely rare that he does not spot them! You will enjoy the beautiful surroundings in the meantime.

  • How do we pay? Is deposit required?

A deposit of 50% is required at booking. Full Payment is required 48 hours prior to departure. Special cash payment options are available. Contact us for more special payment arrangements or extended trip options. Questions about cancellations and deposits reference our cancellation policy.

  • What do we need to bring?

All of our tours and charters are private for you and your party of 6 passengers or fewer.
    What to bring :
    Hat
Sunglasses – Polarized sunglasses provide you with the best experience on the water.
Sunblock – Without dyes or Self-Tanners.

  • What if we have more than the max, 6 people?

Unfortunately, we are limited to 6 passengers. This is a Coast Guard Regulation and most private boat charters will be held to the same rule. We can accommodate more by pairing up with a 2nd boat and Captain for an upcharge. You will only be separated while underway and will all be together at all stops! For other options or suggestions, please call us to discuss.

  • What if it rains or I need to cancel?

If the weather does not cooperate, we do not want to go out either. Safety is most important! Capt. Rob will be in touch with you to discuss, either the day prior or the morning of the charter. We always try to reschedule if possible. If not, you are not out any money! If you get rained out part way through your charter, we will prorate to make sure you are not paying for time not on the water. If you need to cancel for any reason, we do ask for as much notice as possible so we have time to book another charter.

    • Yes, alcohol is fine but please, no red wine.

  • What if I need to cancel my dolphin tour or charter?

If you need to cancel your boat charter due to any reason, we need at least a 24 hour notice in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after that cannot be refunded. If we cancel for any reason then you will receive a full refund.

  • What is the refund policy for bad weather?

Safety is our primary concern and sometimes we have to cancel boat charters due to poor boating conditions. We are happy to either reschedule your tour or charter to another day or time, or if rescheduling your charter or tour is not possible, we will always offer a full refund. We will never charge you if we can’t get you out due to weather.
